Matthew 12:31-37 (KJV)
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.  And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.  Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.  O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.  A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.  But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.  For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Mark 3:29-30 (KJV)
But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:  Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

To say that one is filled with and listening to a false spirit, is blasphemy against them, if it is untrue.   The fact may be that the one claiming the other is blaspheming, may be blaspheming themselves by their statement.  Blasphemy against one another is horrible enough, but when we blaspheme the Spirit, blaspheme the message of the Holy Spirit, defile His program and gospel to the people, we are in grave danger.

To utter words against God willfully, malignantly, and knowingly is blasphemy. Not one of the Trinity is more sacred, or more than equal than the others. So why is the blasphemy against the Spirit worse than blasphemy against Jesus or God the Father? It is because of their jobs. Jesus takes people to God. It is the Spirit that brings people to Jesus. So the "Initiator" is the Spirit. He starts the process of bringing people to salvation. He brings the conviction that makes one want to become saved. So if He is grieved so much that He ceases to make a person want to get saved, then that person will never repent to Jesus, so Jesus can forgive.

If a person blasphemes Christ, the Spirit is still working to bring the person to Jesus in repentance. If one blasphemes the Spirit, who then will convict that one to bring them to Christ for repentance???

The unpardonable sin causes the person to never again feel conviction. If one feels conviction, then that person has not sinned the unpardonable sin.

John 16:8-15 (KJV)
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:  Of sin, because they believe not on me;  Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;  Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.  I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.  He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.  All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Therefore, we need to be very careful with our preached message, to not offend, grieve, quench, vex, or blaspheme the Holy Spirit or His message.  We are in the last days, and need to carefully examine our hearts.  If we corrupt the message of God, lie, deceive, create hoaxes, and denigrate the message of the Holy Spirit, we are in grave danger for that ‘strange fire’.

We need to ‘test all things’ and to be alert to the message being preached.  We find many ministries today with ‘strange fire’, and they are grieving, quenching, vexing, etc. the Holy Spirit.    When supernatural gifts are fake and pretend, to fool the people, the Holy Spirit wants nothing to do with those ‘strange fire’ messages.  He is grieved, and it is not the Holy Spirit that is speaking to those perpetrators of ‘strange fire’.

As Pentecostal believers, we need to flush out, expose and rebuke the strange fire found in our circles.   Hopefully, there will not be the need of non Pentecostals to expose the ‘strange fire’.  We would have to hang our heads in shame if we allowed ‘strange fire’, commended those who perpetrated hoaxes in the name of the Holy Spirit.  It is time we ‘test’ and ‘try’ and when blasphemy of claiming something is from the Holy Spirit that is from an evil spirit, is found, we need to expose it.  There is too much strange fire in every denomination, and we are more responsible for that which is in our own circles.

Those who have erred like Nadab and Abihu need in this day of grace to find mercy through repentance and godly sorrow for such offenses.  They  need  reproof, and conviction. Without it, they may never repent.  Without it they will not want to repent.  It would be ‘strange fire’ for us to pat them on the back and become thereby ‘partakers of their sin’.

2 John 1:10-11 (KJV)
If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:  For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Paul sinned the unpardonable sin, but he was forgiven because it was done ignorantly in unbelief.

1 Timothy 1:12-13 (KJV)
And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;  Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

So the Bible seems to indicate that this sin done in ignorance is not unpardonable. When done willingly, and knowingly, it is unpardonable.

Hebrews 10:26-29 (KJV)
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.  He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:  Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Like the fiery judgment on Nadab and Abihu, there will be judgment on the ‘strange fire’ of our times.  It may not be lightning from heaven, but it will be judgment of some sort, suddenly, upon those who have ‘trodden under foot the Son of God’, and those who have ‘done despite unto the Spirit of grace’.

Hebrews 10:31 (KJV)
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

It is a frightening thing to see what happened to Nadab and Abihu, and what happened to Ananias and Sapphira. Their words and actions blasphemed what the Holy Spirit was trying to do, and brought swift judgment.  Isaiah asked for a cleansing of his lips that had spoken things for which he was ashamed, and the true fire of God cleansed him.  We need to pray for a cleansing fire of revival, a Pentecostal, Holy Spirit blessed, powerful gifts shown to this world from that Holy Spirit, by cleansing away the EVIL, and replacing it with REAL.

The Bible predicts that in the last days, there will be many in the churches that have apostatized.

2 Peter 2:1-6 (KJV)
 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.  And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.  For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;  And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;  And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly;

False teachers have DEFILED the church.  They have pernicious ways, seek though covetousness to enrich themselves, making merchandise of the congregations to which they spread heretical doctrines.  God is still angry at ‘strange fire’, and He will not spare those who do this and do not soon repent.

Jude 1:4 (KJV)
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Unawares, there have been some creep into the church circles, allowing sin, denying repentance, denying in word and action our Lord and Savior.

2 Timothy 3:1-9 (KJV)
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.  Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.  But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, they were sons of Balaam, and traveled for a time with the Israelites out of Egypt.  Their folly was finally made manifest and judgment fell upon them.  In that same way, the STRANGE FIRE of some in these last days will be judged.

1 Timothy 4:1-2 (KJV)
 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;  Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

We are in that time, and the seducing spirits imitating the Holy Spirit, and confusing many in the church.   The hypocritical lies, the seared consciences of the perpetrators of the same sins as Nadab, Abihu, Ananias, Sapphira, Simon magus, have led many astray.  The Lord forewarned us often of this kind of thing in the last days.   The Lord will judge.

1 Peter 4:17-18 (KJV)
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?  And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

They  are the ones who can continue to cause trouble, stir up strife, spiritually abuse others, gossip, etc. and never want to repent or change their ways. They can always find justification for living contrary to the two commandments of Jesus -- to love God supremely, and to love their neighbor as themselves. When the altars are empty of tears; when people shout, but can't weep over their own sins, or anyone else's; when judgmentalism is prevalent, but self examination isn't; then it is likely that some have spread evil doctrines.

These  promoters of evil  may be able: to do Christian service, to hold church positions, to weep (not in repentance, but in feeling sorry for themselves), to carry on a hypocritical pretense of serving God, etc.; but in reality- they have lost God! There are many that, perhaps have not sinned the unpardonable sin yet, are so close to this terrible sin, that only a revival of great proportions may save them from pushing a little farther in resisting the Holy Spirit to the unpardonable sin. God is sending them messages, dreams, visions, and prophets to warn them. I pray, they listen!! The sins can lead to the level where it is unpardonable, judge-able.  We are seeing some who must be very near that point now.   We need to intercede for them, and preach the un-adulterated Word of God ourselves. We must rebuke the evil.
